ANDOVER CARNIVAL

Sponsorship of Andover Carnival is an ideal opportunity for businesses and organisations to raise their profile through an association with a large-scale free community event and to help raise funds for local Charities at the same time.

Andover Carnival is a fast growing, popular community event which hopefully will be bigger and better than ever in 2018.  It is organised by a group of local volunteers who freely give a large amount of their time to put on this fabulous event.

It was estimated that there were approximately 8-10000 people last year enjoying the fun within the park and a further 4-6000 people lining the streets to watch the procession.  Below we have listed some suggested sponsorship levels, however all donations and sponsorship amounts are gratefully received and will ultimately help us to give more money to the 2018 adopted charities.  The 2018 Charities will be announced in early 2018. Gold Sponsorship (Main Sponsorship) £3000 (suggested amount)
As one of the main sponsors of the Andover Carnival, your company will be highlighted as one of the main sponsors of the event, in the most prominent positions possible. You will be able to use our logo to publicise the fact that you are one of the main sponsors of the Andover Carnival and this will include:

  • Your company’s name associated with this well respected event.
  •  Widespread coverage in local and social media for the whole event (from the point sponsorship is agreed, subject to print/promotion deadlines and acceptances), through to the post event publicity such as the cheque presentation and announcement of the date of the next carnival.
  • Being featured in news stories submitted to the Andover Advertiser and other local press opportunities (from the point sponsorship is agreed, subject to print/promotion deadlines and acceptances).
  •  Regularly featuring in Andover Carnival social media activities
  • Your logo displayed within Vigo Recreation Grounds on Carnival day, space allowing, with your own banners.
  • Your logo displayed on a large scrim to the side of the stage.  This space may be shared and a charge may be raised if your logo is changed after the production of the scrim.
  • 3m x 3m pitch within Vigo Recreation Grounds (if required) to promote your company/Organisation to the General Public. This can include the selling of Goods/Services
  • Complimentary entry into the Float and or Walking Procession
  • Regular on-stage announcements throughout the day acknowledging you as one of the Main Sponsors
  •  Your logo prominent on all promotional literature, including approximately 10,000 programmes distributed to local schools prior to the event, (from the point sponsorship is agreed, subject to print/promotion deadlines and acceptances).
  • Your logo prominently displayed on the Home Page, together with a small editorial and a web link on the Andover Carnival website.
  • Use of professional photographs from our official photographer for your web site and company news sites and press release
  • Full page advert in on a prominent page in our event program, 10,000 of which are distributed prior to the event.
  • Your name displayed on prizes given to the float winners.

Silver Sponsorship £2000 (suggested amount)
Your company will be highlighted on the run up to the Andover Carnival and highlighted as a sponsor during the event and in follow up publicity. You will be able to use our logo (subject to the relevant permissions) to publicise your support of the Andover Carnival.

This will include:

  •  Your company’s name associated with this well respected event.
  •  Occasional coverage in local and social media
  •  Being featured in news stories submitted to the Andover Advertiser and other local press (subject to print/promotion deadlines and acceptances).
  • Featuring in Andover Carnival social media activities
  •  3m x 3m pitch within Vigo Recreation Grounds (if required) to promote your Company/Organisation to the General Public. This can include the selling of Goods/Services
  • Complimentary entry into the Float and or Walking Procession
  •  On-stage announcements throughout the day acknowledging you as a Sponsor
  •  Your logo prominent on all promotional literature, including approximately 10,000
  • rogrammes distributed to local schools prior to the event, (from the point sponsorship is agreed, subject to print/promotion deadlines and acceptances).
  •  Your logo displayed on the Home Page of our website, together with a small editorial and a web link on the Andover Carnival website.
  •  Use of professional photographs from our official photographer for your web site and company news sites and press release
  •  Half page advert in our event program, 10,000 of which are distributed prior to the event.  THis can be upgraded in size for a further donation.
  •  Your name displayed on prizes given second placed float.

Bronze Sponsorship £500 suggested amount
Bronze sponsors are usually smaller companies who’d like to be involved and give back to the community, but who have limited sponsorship budgets. This means that you can still be involved and make a difference.

As a Bronze sponsor you will benefit from:

  • On-stage announcements throughout the day acknowledging you as a Sponsor
  •  Your Company Logo on our “Thank You” Page on our website
  •  Use of professional photographs from our official photographer for your web site and company news sites and press release
  • Quarter page advert in our event program, 10,000 of which are distributed prior to the event.  This can be upgraded in sized for a further donation.

Procession sponsor – £1000
Procession sponsors donation goes specifically to pay for acts to take part in the procession.  This will help extend the procession and make it more memorable!
• Your Company logo on our “Thank you” page on our website
• Being featured in news stories submitted to the Andover Advertiser and other local press opportunities (from the point sponsorship is agreed, subject to print/promotion deadlines and acceptances).
• Featuring in Andover Carnival social media activities
• Complimentary entry into the Float and or Walking Procession
• Use of professional photographs from our official photographer for your web site and company news sites and press release
• Half page advert in our event program, 10,000 of which are distributed prior to the event.  This can be upgraded in size for a further donation.
• Your name displayed on prizes given to the third place float winners.
• Banner displayed on lorry taking part in the procession.
