Sponsor Andover Carnival

Sponsorship of Andover Carnival is an ideal opportunity for businesses and organisations to raise their profile through an association with a large-scale free community event and to help raise funds for local Charities at the same time.

It was estimated that there were approximately 8-10000 people last year enjoying the fun within the park and a further 4-6000 people lining the streets to watch the procession.

Below we have listed some suggested sponsorship levels, however all donations and sponsorship amounts are gratefully received and will ultimately help us to give more money to the 2016 adopted charity, the 2016 Charity will be announced in February 2016.

DIAMOND+: Suggested donation £3000.

As the main sponsor of the Andover Carnival, your company will be:

Highlighted as the main sponsor of the event, in the most prominent positions possible. You will be able to use our logo to publicise the fact that you are the main sponsor of the Andover Carnival and this will include:

  • Your company’s name associated with this well respected event.
  • Taking part in judging the winners of the float entries and presenting them with their placement rosettes.
  • Widespread coverage in local and social media for the whole event, (from the point sponsorship is agreed, subject to print/promotion deadlines and acceptances), through to the post event publicity such as the cheque presentation and announcement of the date and theme of the next carnival
  • Being featured in news stories submitted to the Andover Advertiser (including the pre- carnival wrap), Andover Gazette and Breeze Andover news teams (from the point sponsorship is agreed, subject to print/promotion deadlines and acceptances).
  • Regularly featuring in Andover Carnival social media activities
  • Your logo prominently displayed by the main entrance to Vigo Recreation Grounds on Carnival day.
  • The opportunity for your own banners placed on the main stage in Vigo Recreation Grounds on Carnival day.
  • 3m x 3m pitch within Vigo Recreation Grounds (if required) to promote your Company/Organisation to the General Public. This can include the selling of Goods/Services
  • Complimentary entry into the Float and or Walking Procession
  • 3m x 3m pitch within Vigo Recreation Grounds (if required) to promote your Company/Organisation to the General Public. This can include the selling of Goods/Services
  • Regular on-stage announcements throughout the day acknowledging you as the Main Sponsor
  • Your logo prominent on all promotional literature, which is distributed throughout the town (from the point sponsorship is agreed, subject to print/promotion deadlines and acceptances).
  • A whole page advert in our Carnival booklet, which has approximately an 8000 circulation (subject to print/promotion deadlines and acceptances).
  • Your logo prominently displayed on the Home Page, together with a small editorial and a web link on the Andover Carnival website.
  • Use of professional photographs from our official photographer for your web site and company news sites and press release.

DIAMOND: Suggested donation £2000.

Your company will be spotlighted on the run up to the Andover Carnival and highlighted as a co-sponsor during the event and in follow up publicity. You will be able to use our logo (subject to the relevant permissions) to publicise your support of the Andover Carnival.

This will include:

  • Your company’s name associated as a co-sponsor with this well respected event
  • Occasional coverage in local and social media
  • Being featured in news stories submitted to the Andover Advertiser (including the pre- carnival wrap), Andover Gazette and Breeze Andover news teams (subject to print/promotion deadlines and acceptances).
  • Featuring in Andover Carnival social media activities
  • 3m x 3m pitch within Vigo Recreation Grounds (if required) to promote your Company/Organisation to the General Public. This can include the selling of Goods/Services
  • Complimentary entry into the Float and or Walking Procession
  • On-stage announcements throughout the day acknowledging you as a Sponsor
  • Your logo on promotional literature, which is distributed throughout the town (from the point sponsorship is agreed, subject to print/promotion deadlines and acceptances).
  • A half page advert in our Carnival booklet, which has approximately an 8000 circulation (subject to print/promotion deadlines and acceptances).
  • Your logo displayed on the Home Page of our website, together with a small editorial and a web link on the Andover Carnival website.
  • Use of professional photographs from our official photographer for your web site and company news sites and press release

RUBY: Suggested donation £500.

Ruby sponsors are usually smaller companies who’d like to be involved and give back to the community, but who have limited sponsorship budgets. This means that you can still be involved and make a difference.

As a Ruby sponsor you will benefit from:

  • On-stage announcements throughout the day acknowledging you as a Sponsor
  • Your Company Logo on our “Thank You” Page on our website
  • Acknowledged within the special Carnival wrap (usually published by The Andover Advertiser on the Wednesday prior to the event and, subject to print/promotion deadlines and acceptances).
  • Use of professional photographs from our official photographer for your web site and company news sites and press release

SPONSOR IN KIND:

Another way for small businesses and individuals to be involved is as a ‘sponsor in kind’. Sponsors in kind generally provide goods or services in kind to the carnival. In the past this has included such things from providing outfits or flowers for the Princess and her attendants, a vehicle for the Mayor, and printing services to floats and drivers for Carnival day
