Welcome to Andover Carnival

Andover Carnival is a not for profit organization of 15 volunteers who enjoy putting the fun back into fundraising.

Our aims are to continue supporting local charities by raising funds for their worthy causes. Here’s an overview of what’s coming up over the coming months. The money raised from these events will go towards Andover Carnival’s adopted Charities.

Carnival 2016 is Coming to Town

Carnival Day 2016 will be held on Sunday 17th July and Vigo Recreation Grounds will once again be the focus of our Family Fun Day commencing at 12 noon until 9pm.

The Stage will feature local artists performing a wide variety of music. To ensure all the Family have a great time there’ll be Wall’s Fairground Rides/Stalls,  together with a variety of Craft and Charity Stalls, a Beer Tent and numerous Food and Beverage outlets.

Besides the Fun Day our 6th Road Procession for both Floats & Walkers will move through the streets of Andover starting at 4pm.

Due to popular demand we’ve kept the “Open Theme” and again we’re anticipating over 20 Floats and groups of Walkers will show off their creative skills in a bid to win 1st prize and attempt to outperform Mitutoyo!

If you wish to enter a Float or walking entry this year or be part of the Family Fun Day in Vigo Recreation Grounds please download the forms below, alternatively contact mike.hall@andovercarnival.org (Floats and walking entries)

The Andover Carnival Team would once again like to say a big thank you to the people of Andover who came out to support the Carnival and help us raise money for charity. The Carnival procession was again fantastic and showed just how creative our town can be. Colourful floats and walkers provided a rainbow spectacular for the crowds that lined the route.

However, none of this can happen without the support of the local companies who sponsor, support us with goods and services in kind, donate raffle prizes and volunteers to help us on the day. We cannot thank them all enough for they enable us to continue the tradition of the Andover carnival in providing fun and entertainment for our community – as well a support for local charities.

Thank you once again for your kind generosity.
